A New Face at Victoria Practice
From the begining of September Dr Couderc has left the practice for pastures new and she is replaced by Dr Rachel O'Hara a very experienced GP who joins us from a local practice in Farnborough. Dr O'Hara will hold surgeries on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each week.
If you, or someone you care for, needs information in a different format, perhaps large print letters or even a phone call instead of a letter, do please let us know and we will do our best to acommodate you. We will add a note to your medical record so that all our staff are aware of your needs when we communicate with you.

Appointment Reminiders by Text
If we have a record of your mobile number you will now automatically receive a text confirmation of each appointment you make along with a reminder 48 hours before your appointment is due. If you no longer need the appointment you can also cancel it from the reminder message. The message we send does not contain any personal infromation but do please make sure we have your correct mobile number so that the messages get to you!
For patients with long term conditions we will also begins sending invitations for your annual check up and flu vaccination reminders by text during 2016.

Electronic Prescription service (EPS)
We can now send your prescription direct to a pharmacy of your choice electronically. Most local pharmacies are signed up to the scheme and all you need to do is 'nominate' one to receive your perscriptions. This saves you the time and effort of collecting your prescription and your medication will be ready for you at your chosen pharmacy, meaning you won't be delayed there either.
Changes to Child Immunisations
From September 2015 a new vaccine will be added to the standard NHS Child Immunisation programme to protect against Meningitis B. There will also be a catch up programme for babies aged 2 and 4 months.
